Rajibpur Degree College established in 1989.Only one college of Rajibpur Upazila.
Rajibpur Degree College is situated in the city center, adjacent to Rajibpur Mohila College and is very near the Rajibpur Upazila. It is said to be the first oldest institution of higher education in Rajibpur Upazila of Kurigram Zilla in Bangladesh . Within a short period after establishment, the college became one of the main centres of higher education for the inhabitants of North Bengal.
Higher secondary education was started enrolling from session 1990-1991.
Rajibpur Degree College was the first institution in the territories to offers bachelor degree (BA,BSS,BBS and BSc.) courses in various disciplines since 1994-95 session under the affiliation of National University.The daily affairs of the college are run on the basis of guidelines prescribed by the Ministry of Education.
Rajibpur Degree college is probably the sole institutes dares to manage its all data and information digitally and has become a pioneer institute to do this job online through setting an own server station along with LAN and Broadband Leased Line connection.
